The Pie Collective

Research

To begin, I conducted research to gain a better understanding of the overall aesthetic. I reviewed social media posts on Instagram and then explored the website to examine the various types of shots and their respective purposes.

I attempted to organize them into three different categories, but I found that there was some overlap among them. Therefore, I used the categories as loose guidelines for sections. To accomplish this, I utilized Pinterest (thank you for the recommendation) and a stock photo library called Pexels.

Over the course of a few months, I worked with the Pie Collective’s media manager and was able to learn and adapt to their desired style of photography. I brought some of my own style while incorporating their brand’s aesthetic and style. The result is a sample of the content created in collaboration with them.
